About Shoebox Dynasty

Shoebox Dynasty is an online-only sports card shop based in Phoenix, Arizona. We are a small operation, and that is the point: the same hands buy, photograph, price, pack, and ship every card that leaves here. When you email or call, you reach the shop directly — not a support queue, not an outsourced help desk.

What we sell

Baseball cards and sports memorabilia spanning decades of the hobby — vintage classics through modern rookies, parallels, and inserts, both raw and professionally graded. Our catalog is small and hand-picked on purpose. We would rather list fifty cards we can describe accurately than five thousand we have never physically touched.

How we operate

Every card listed on this site is already in our physical possession in Phoenix, Arizona. Nothing is drop-shipped, pre-ordered, sourced from overseas, or purchased only after you place an order. That one fact shapes everything else about how we work:

The photos are the card. Every listing shows the exact card you will receive, photographed front and back under consistent lighting. We never use stock images, manufacturer renders, or scans borrowed from a price guide.
Condition is described honestly. Raw cards list the visible flaws we can see — corner wear, off-centering, surface marks, print lines, edge chipping. Graded cards show the slab, the grading company, and the certification number so you can verify it independently before you buy.
Orders ship in 1 to 3 business days. Because the card is already here, there is no sourcing delay and no transit from a third-party warehouse. You get a USPS tracking number by email as soon as the label is created.
Packaging is not an afterthought. Standard orders ship in a penny sleeve, top loader, and rigid flat mailer via USPS Ground Advantage with tracking and carrier insurance. High-value and graded cards ship in a bubble mailer with additional coverage.

What we don't do

We do not use stock photography or represent one card with another card's image.
We do not run countdown timers, manufactured scarcity, or fake “original price” markdowns. Each card has one price, on one page.
We do not list cards we do not physically own.
We do not charge subscription fees, membership fees, or recurring charges of any kind.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not operate a retail storefront. Shoebox Dynasty is online-only, and we say so plainly rather than implying otherwise.

All sales are final

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds — on any card, raw or graded, at any price point. Because each card is a single, individually described item rather than a mass-produced product, we put all of the effort into photographing and disclosing condition up front so you can decide before purchasing rather than after.

That means the time to ask is before you order. Want extra photographs, a closer look at a particular corner or edge, or a certification number to verify with the grading company yourself? Ask, and we will answer honestly. We would far rather lose a sale than have a card arrive that is not what you expected.

Damage that happens in the mail is handled separately, through the carrier. Every order ships insured, and once a package is in USPS custody the carrier's insurance is what covers it. Keep all of the packaging, photograph it before unpacking any further, and email us within 3 days of delivery — we file the USPS claim on your behalf and follow it through with you.
